Sometimes when I’m out and about, I see car seat usage that makes me cringe.
Okay, often.
Most of the time in fact.
Sometimes I’ll take the time (and the risk) and approach someone about the car seat, but other times I’m in a hurry, just see the car in the parking lot without folks nearby, or don’t want to speak to the person for a multitude of reasons.
So, at the suggestion of my mom, I wrote out three fliers:
#1. Did You Know? Rules to Rear Facing
#2. Did You Know? Rules to Introducing a Booster
#3. Did You Know? Rules to Ridding of the Booster
Each one is pretty basic. Feel free to view or download them and print them out. Stick ‘em on windshields, in grocery carts, or in the hands of someone (whether or not you stick around to discuss it).
If you use them, let me know how it goes!

SWEET… I am the type of person with “no balls” and these flyers are awesome! Now I just need to get a printer… I would love to hang these up at my son’s daycare!!
My daughter DOES listen to me…sometimes. Good fliers. This is what I would need, as I am not as up-to-date on this stuff.
Awesome! Thanks, Christie!
These are fantastic, Christie!!! I’ve found myself getting out of the habit of saying anything to people about car seats, because they can be incredibly hostile about it. It’s kinda surprising sometimes, the vehemence with which people will defend bad car seat choices.
(Would you mind if I played with them some? Pretty can make it seem less hostile for some reason.)
